"This is a journey of my life since I was all of 12 yrs when I started my hand in cooking to now with displays of my learning and creations of recipes from around the world. My inspiration and role model has always been my Mum who has always created dishes from around the world and excellently well. I do not believe I would ever match to her culinary skills. I remember the times she could cook and bake almost 4-5 dishes in one go without ever letting one go under cooked or burnt! I was born and raised in Dubai, UAE and recently moved to India for family reasons. Kitchenette just means that over the decades, my kitchen has changed from that of my mum's to my uncle and aunt's, to my home in UAE and now in India. Pala't'te, describes both global cuisines ('Palatte'-diverse flavours) and pleasing diverse 'Palates'."

I am proud and thankful to include this new page on my food blog. It has been a while since I have thought of this and I have my first send by my dear friend 'Sheritha Neeraj (Sheritha Ravi)' who has tried my Diced Mango Pickle make.

Thanks Sheritha for sending the click of your try and I must say you have snapped an excellent picture. Well-done and hope you enjoy the pickle!

For those of you who have tried my recipes, do send me a picture of your effort on gginazkitchenette@gmail.com or if you have 'Liked' my Facebook page, you can post it there as well.

Thank you Meghana. Meghana has become a fond friend of mine who I feel I know really well although we've never met in person. She is a warm hearted, generous person who runs an Internet and personal boutique very well at the same time. She is both beautiful on the inside as is radiantly evident on the outside as well:) Hope to meet you soon Megs. Here is her take on G'Gina's Kitchenette's Methi Chicken Curry. Thanks Megs. Well-done!
